This new take on Jackie's popular fan features a silk gauze design and scrim edn staves in the form of a Pansy or Forget-me-nots. The colorway for the Pansy Fan is intended to match that of A Tisket-A Tasket so you can add another lovely piece to your box.
You may sign-up for either the Pansy or Forget-me-not design and purchase the other kit from Jackie. The form is the same for both of them so you can work on either in class.
The fan is worked on silk gauze with silk threads. We'll post more photos as Jackie completes both designs.
Complete kit will includes all materials needed to stitch and
complete the project as described and the scrim (not ivory based). Instructions will included colored
charts, diagrams and step by step photo instructions.
Sign-up Deadline: March 1, 2018
Please note: This class is only available to those who attend in person. Per Jackie's requirements we cannot send kits to students who do not show up for class.
You should bring to class any magnification you need along with you as well as the usual class stitching supplies (scissors, extra needles, pen or pencil, note paper, highlighters, etc.).

All of Jackie's classes will be held at the Hawthorn Suites at 1628 Webster Street, less than a mile from the shop. This is also the hotel we recommend students to stay in when visiting us for classes.
For Jackie's 2017 classes the hotel has a room rate for students at $174/night (before taxes). Be sure to call the hotel directly and let them know you are attending the Needle In A Haystack classes that weekend to receive our room rate.
The conference room is on the first floor. Students will have the use of a Stella Lighting Desk lamp during class. If you require magnification we do recommend you bring that with you as well as the usual stitching supplies (scissors, extra needles, note taking implements, etc.).
We will have an hour break for lunch each day and there is a plethora of places to grab lunch on Webster Street, from Beignets to sandwiches.
None of these classes require pre-stitching so you just need to show up and be prepared to be absorb Jackie's finishing wisdom and be amazed!
