Nan has designed a new band sampler and pin cube set which called Magical. It is her first band sampler in 10 years. Sampler measures 8 ½” H X 5” W on 32 CT ZweigartAntique White Linen. She has stitched it with DMC floss in shades of pink, blue, lavender andgreen with an original verse and 6 diagrammed specialty stitches. Mingled in with rows of garden flowers are bluebirds, bees, butterflies, ladybugs and, since this is a magical garden, you will also find 2 lavender mice, a blue spider and a pink hedgehog!
There will be lots of treasure! Unique embellishments include a painted gold flower spray, gold lined crystals, tiny gold flower beads, 3 colors of seed beads and white pearls.
A tiny pin cube measuring 1 ¼” square matches the sampler with flowers on 5 sides and the spider and mice on the bottom. Cube design is 5 ½” H X 4” W on the same linen. The cube perches on 4 fancy flower feet which the stitcher will pin in place with straight pins. The crowning touch is a Magic Flower Pin to be assembled by the stitcher and inserted in the top of the cube. We provide Pretty Pin Parts and instructions.
Magical includes a color cover, 12-page Stitch Guide, all the embellishments including the flower feet for the cube, plus Pretty Pin Parts. Stitcher will need to provide stuffing for the cube and 4 straight pins.
Stitcher will need of Belfast Antique White linen, either a Stitcher's Eighth (2.5" margins for the sampler) or a Stitcher's Quarter (3" margins for the sampler) for both pieces.
This is a pre-order piece which has Sold Out from Just Nan as they have a limited supply of the embellishments. The design will be shipping to us the end of July 2024.

If you want a 3" margin for the sampler & plan to also stitch the pin cube, you will need a Stitcher's Quarter (18x27) of fabric.
If you want a 2-2.5" margin for the sampler and plan to also stitch the pin cube, you can get by with a Stitcher's Eights (18x13.5) of fabric.
