This pair of embroidery scissors represents two facing peacocks. Entirely hand-made, these chromed scissors are a re-edition of a 19th century model. Pairing markings are found on both blades, indicating an exact match and the quality of the craftsmanship.

The number varies on each pair of scissors and shows they have been paired together since the beginning of the process. Once the blades have been paired and adjusted, they are taken apart to perform all the many necessary operations and then re-mounted together and finished. The blades have a fine, sharp point and there is a Sajou ribbon on one of the handles.
