A new embroidery flower alphabet book from a master embroiderer, Elisabetta Sforza inspired by nature. In un campo di grano-Alfabeti da ricamare or In a wheat field-Alphabets to stitch" has just been released.

It's a book filled with drawings of flowery letters, compiled with wheat, poppies,
cornflowers, bellflowers and daises. It contains 32 pages and embroiderers can
find a full alphabet 11 cm high, 13 decorative drawings, one chromatic suggestion and 12 pages of tutorial to learn stitches and composition.

The book is in English and Italian.

We'll send the book either Priority Mail (Flat Rate envelope if less than 2 of them) within the US or First Class International for overseas books. The book will come in a sealed plastic bag so it won't get soaked.

We have received our another book shipment from Italy so we do have copies in stock.

Elisabetta uses Graziano 6262 linen for much of her work. In the US it is brought in by Access Commodities and sold under their Legacy Linen series. You'll find the colors of the 6262 style linen we have available in our online catalog. Caster Sugar is White, and Gothic Ivory is cream.

The photo below shows the Sycamore Seed Pod stitched as counted work with Soie Surfine, Soie 100/3 and Soie d'Alger in red. The color is a tan a bit lighter than DMC 738 (not as much of a red cast as the photo shows).

We are open Tue-Sat 11am-3pm PT for orders, curbside and appointments. We have see an increase in order volume as everyone has decided to stitch :-). See our time frames for pulling and shipping orders. Also, our vendors are taking longer to supply us due to increased demand for them as well, so planning well ahead of a project deadline is important these days. If you only want items we have in stock, please mark your order Ship Partial Cancel Incomplete Items.

While we would love to be able to give firm ETAs for items we are out of, that's not possible with the disruption COVID-19 has caused across the supply chain. We expect this disruption to last through 2021.

We hope that everyone stays safe during this difficult time and we appreciate your support.

We will be closed December 24th-January 4th for the Christmas/New Year's Holiday 2020/2021. While we won't be in the shop during that time, you can place orders for us to handle after the New Year. We hope you have a fabulous holiday.

If you use the Save Cart feature, be sure your cart is empty when you retrieve/view the saved cart. It will over-ride what is in the existing cart.

Please note that we do not charge for orders until we ship them. The checkout process will capture your information for us to use when we ship your order. As we do not have a real-time inventory system, please contact us at the shop if you need us to check if we have the items you need in stock if your order is urgent.

Our time to pull orders is currently 4-7 business days - it might be 10-14 days before we get back to you if your order is not complete due to our order volume.
