    We are excited to announce the release of this beautiful Exclusive sampler from Hands Across the Sea Samplers.

    The Eliza Martha Linfoot 1834 will be Exclusively available from Attic Needlework, Needle in Haystack, Traditional Stitches, A Stitch In Time and Hands Across the Sea Samplers!

    Those of you who enjoyed our Facebook SAL for the Jane Fiddes sampler will not want to miss the continuation of our group as we transition to a SAL for Eliza Martha Linfoot.

    Cherie Cluff Edington did such a fantastic job leading our Facebook group and SAL for Jane Fiddes, that we are thrilled she has agreed to take the lead for our Eliza Martha Linfoot sampler! You can join the Facebook group at any time here. The SAL start date of October 1, 2021.

    Eliza's sampler chart will ONLY be available from the sponsoring shops and Hands Across the Sea Samplers. All 4 of the shops will be selling the supplies as well.

    Nicola has generously offered a drawing prize of an antique sampler from her collection for all stitchers that complete the Eliza Martha Linfoot sampler within 12 months of our SAL start date.

    The design area is 249 stitches (w) x 246 stitches (h). Our calculations have included a 3″ margin for finishing and framing.

    We are taking pre-orders for the supplies needed for the sampler and expect to ship them the end of August if we are able to have all our materials by that time.

    Cathe has designed 4 acrylic accessories, which you will find under Related Items below.

    The design uses 25 colors of either Soie d'Alger, Soie 100/3 or DMC floss.

    We are suggesting the Legacy Linen fabrics below. Each of these is the same color in 4 different counts. You could certainly use a different fabric color, but this will get you the closest to the model. The custom cuts for this design will only be found in the Related Items below for the appropriate count. The cut will each be noted that it's for this design in the drop down menu for each fabric.

    45ct Nightingale ~ Design: 11.1″ x 11″ Fabric: 17″ x 17″ - cut size Stitcher's Eighth 18x18

    53/63ct Waffle Cone ~ Design: 9.5″ x 8″ Fabric: 15.5″ x 14″ - cut size custom cut 18x14.75

    We are open Tue-Sat 11am-3pm PT for orders, pickup and appointments. We are not able to accept Expedited orders at the present time. Many of our vendors are still taking longer to supply us due to increased demand and supply chain issues. If you only want items we have in stock, please mark your order Ship Partial Cancel Incomplete Items. While we would love to be able to give firm ETAs for items we are out of, that's not possible with the disruption COVID-19 continues to cause across the supply chain.

    Russian customers: We are unable to accept orders being sent to Russia or using a payment method with that as the country of origin due to sanctions.

    EU & UK customers: We are no longer shipping orders less than £135 (~$170USD) to the UK or €150 (~$165USD) to the EU due to VAT requirements imposed by the EU & UK governments. If you are in the EU or UK and you order is over £135/€150, we can send it an you will be responsible for VAT when it is delivered. For orders under that amount, we would suggest having us send it to a Freight Forwarder in the US, which can then handle the requiste paperwork for VAT. We hope the UK & EU governments will adjust the rules to limit its scope to large scale businesses, but we're not confident that will happen.

    If you use the Save Cart feature, be sure your cart is empty when you retrieve/view the saved cart. It will over-ride what is in the existing cart.

    Please note that we do not charge for orders until we ship them. The checkout process will capture your information for us to use when we ship your order. As we do not have a real-time inventory system, please contact us at the shop if you need us to check if we have the items you need in stock if your order is urgent.

    Our time to pull orders is currently 2-3 business days. Do indicate any Deadline in the appropriate field..
    Our current shipping time for complete or partial orders is 2-3 business days once an order is ready to ship. .
