Tabby Cat linens are hand-dyed in France by Michele White. We order the Sotema base fabrics which are 30, 37 & 47/48 count. In the US the mill dyed fabrics are sold under the Legacy Linens collection of fabrics. So if you are familiar with Legacy 37 count Russian Tea Cake Tabby Cat fabrics are hand-dyed on the white version of that fabric. Michele also dyes Zwegiart fabrics but we have chosen to import the Sotema base linens since they are not as easy to find in the US.
If you typically use 28 or 32 count, try the 30 count. If you typically use 36-40 count try the 37 count. If you typically use 46-55 count, try the 47/48 count.
The hand of the Sotema base is soft and we find working on the 47/48 count linen is easier than other 45-46 count linens.
