    These silks vary in weight, type, texture and shade enabling you to create a range of effects---down to the finest features such as eyelids or fingertips.

    You will notice none of the kits contain equally shaded values of the same color, because a face is never painted or portrayed in a single color.

    Each kit is organized around an ethnic theme, but should not be considered a rigid definition, only a suggested guideline or place to start with color options.

    Created by Access Commodities in the US, we have 5 different flesh tone silk thread kits suitable for personalizing stitching projects.

    Flesh Tone #1 (Porcelain Complexion)

    • 5 skeins of Soie d'Alger silk
    • 1 spool each of Soie Perlee, Soie 100/3 & Soie de Paris

    Flesh Tone #2 (Medium Complexion)

    • 6 skeins of Soie d'Alger silk
    • 3 spools each of Soie Perlee and Soie 100/3

    Flesh Tone #3 (Mediterranean Complexion)

    • 6 skeins of Soie d'Alger silk
    • 1 spool each of Soie Perlee and Soie de Paris
    • 3 spools of Soie 100/3

    Flesh Tone #4 (Oriental Complexion)

    • 6 skeins of Soie d'Alger silk
    • 3 spools each of Soie Perlee and Soie 100/3

    Flesh Tone #5 (African-American Complexion)

    • 12 skeins of Soie d'Alger
    • 5 spools of Soie Perlee
    • 6 spools of Soie 1003
    • 2 spools of Soie de Paris
    • 1 spool each of Trebizond and Soie Gobelins.

    Russian customers: We are unable to accept orders being sent to Russia or using a payment method with that as the country of origin due to sanctions.

    We no longer ship orders to the UK if less than £135 (~$170USD) due to their VAT reporting requirements. As of 2025 we are no longer accepting orders shipped to EU countries due to their new GPSR rules. Contact us via e-mail to discuss any potential options.

    If you use the Save Cart feature, be sure your cart is empty when you retrieve/view the saved cart. It will over-ride what is in the existing cart.

    Please note that we do not charge for orders until we ship them. The checkout process will capture your information for us to use when we ship your order. As we do not have a real-time inventory system, please contact us at the shop if you need us to check if we have the items you need in stock if your order is urgent.

    Our time to pull orders is currently 3-4 business days. Do indicate any Deadline in the appropriate field..
    Our current shipping time for complete or partial orders is 3-4 business days once an order is ready to ship. .
